does anyone knoe a website that doesn’t have viruses but its not so puzziling!!!Like itunes and amazon i dont get it!!! They say you have to buy it on these 2 websites!! I only want music not video clips!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently made a film that contains a brief clip from a standard film, and a few non-original songs. I want to be able to make this film available on Amazon.com, but I am pretty sure I can’t afford what it would cost to get permission from the film rights owners. I am wondering if there is any way around this. I’ve noticed that people place out “unauthorized” DVD documentaries about bands and use their music. How do they get by? Could someone clarify the logistics of this kind of situation?
I don’t even care that much about making a profit, I just want to make my film available.

You can’t. There’s no officially authorized way around this, unless the way you use the film clip and music falls under “Honest Use.”

But the bottom line is, you can’t just go and use someone else’s work without permission unless you’re commenting on it in some way, which is what the “unauthorized” band DVDs are doing.
