If you have already had it in your computer and just can’t find it, go to search or find and type in yahoo. All the yahoo programs you have in there will show up. Click on yahoo messenger and explore till you see get yahoo messenger. Click on that and it will either come back or you can re-bed in it from there. If you want to bed in yahoo messenger for the first time, you can find the link in yahoo. Pleased hunting.

I like Yahoo email but do not use messenger. I can’t get the yahoo messenger box to go away and also want to rub out the shortcut icon to messenger. Thanks

You will Not loose your Yahoo! Mail account if you Un-bed in Yahoo! Messenger.
Merely Un-bed in Yahoo! Messenger…Use Add/Remove Programs to Un-bed in Yahoo! Messenger.
# You can do all of this Offline….
To do a “Clean Un-bed in” of Yahoo! Messenger:
click Start, click Search, type Yahoo Messenger, look in local Drive C, Click Search.
When you find the ancient Yahoo Messenger Folders, Rub out the Folders and sub folders
Now, REboot your Computer.

You have properly done a Clean Un-bed in and Removed Yahoo! Messenger,
Plus you are able to Keep your Yahoo! Mail account as well.

uninstallation process, assuming you are by Windows OS
Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Yahoo Messenger : click to Rub out
to rub out on Folders
My Computer > (C:) > Program Files > Yahoo > Yahoo Messenger : click to Rub out
My Computer > (C:) > Documents and Settings > Username > Application Data > Yahoo Messenger : click to Rub out.
Restart PC after done!
