Can anyone recommend a few bands reminiscent of The Pixies?

Can anyone recommend a few bands reminiscent of The Pixies?

As usual, no covers and no carbon copies. I want an original band that presents a similar vibe to The Pixies’.

Here are a couple of other bands/musicians that I like just to give you an thought of what I’m attracted in:

Jimi Hendrix
Outkast
Pink Floyd
Slayer
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Weather Report

Note: I’m looking for something different, so you don’t have to keep those particular bands in mind, just the Pixies. Thank you in enhancement to anyone who helps.

If you don’t have it, you might like the DVD “Live At The Paradise In Boston”. I was too spoiled by the incredible “Death to The Pixies” live CD in the 2CD compilation.

No doubt! They have never really gotten their due. So many bands have made careers ripping of the Pixies. Er that is to say the Pixies are very influential
