Which is the best FREE software to download movies & songs?i tried by Limewire,but it lags alot.

The best Free Program for downloading movies and music so far is
Limewire and i heard about bitcomet but i tried that program and it was terrible and right now i am by limewire lag or not lagging you have no choice but to use that program..And it works fantastic for me…..Yea let’s try it again this time use it wisely it means you have to take time to use it…. i reckon limewire is the best despite the lagging but morpheus is excellent also if your computer will allow you to use it but the best thing to download with that i know of is rhapsody but it cost’s so that isnt much help

Ares is a excellent program, it sounds like you have a slow internet tie you can check that by goin to http://reviews.cnet.com/7004-7254_7-0.html

If your internet is slow then you dont have much choice, limewire is the best.

I have a mini netbook so it doesn’t have a diskdrive. I want to watch movies on a plane, but I can’t use the internet. So, how do you download movies that you can watch without internet? And I can download them before and then watch them on the plane if i have to. And also can i use iTunes without internet?

There are no officially authorized free movie downloads,
Rent a couple of DVD’s and use a portable DVD player if you don’t want to watch the in-flight movie like everybody else

You can use iTunes without the internet. You can use a DVD decrypter for the movies and copy the files over to your PC. Alternatively, you can buy a DVD to iPod/pc program. I don’t know the legality of this though.

download a bitTorrent p2p client and then go to isohunt.com and search the movies you want to watch and download them. make sure you have winrar and during installation check the “iso” option so it can extract, that is if bitTorrent client didnt already

First answer to your question is rubbish, quite frankly; your options are as follows:
1 – buy DVDs and rip them to another computer by software such as Handbrake (freeware), and then go the resulting file to your netbook on a USB pendrive – technically this is a officially authorized grey area, but then taping off the radio and even recording off your TV onto blank video cassette has always been technically illegal, so it’s a non-issue – just don’t share the file around!

2 – try iTunes; works very well for movies – obviously, you’ll need an internet tie to rent or buy the movie in the first house, but once it’s on your machine, you don’t need to be connected. You have a month to start watching any film you rent, and then once you’ve started the film, you can watch it as often as you like in the following 48 hours. Obviously, if you buy a film, rather than rent it, you can watch it as often as you like! Also, watch out for iTunes’ “99p Film of the Week” (99 cents if in the US) – a different film each week to rent for only 99p.

One further thing to be aware of: check the capabilities of your netbook; you need to make sure that it’s graphics card/processor is competent of adequately showing full-screen video; some are only honestly underpowered web/email/word processing machines and will have distress with video running at full screen (plus it’ll kill your battery!)
