I really have fond memories of always hearing NPR as a child in the car, that’s all my parents listened to when we were children. Of course I found it kinda dull when I was a kid but now I listen all the time and have these fantastic memories of it.
@ Jillzilla – I listen at work from the internet! Our local NPR station has a website everywhere you can listen online.

my parents never did listen to it… though my husband does and I do sometimes as well. I’m not sure my kids even notice what we are listening too yet… they are only 2 and 4yrs ancient.

Yes and yes. My kids grumble about it too. My Saturday mornings include, coffee, huge breakfast, car talk and thistle and shamrock. Awesome.
