Q&A: Where is the best place to buy a MIDI controller keyboard in the Philippines?

I am a musician. I use everything under the sun, Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, Logic, Ableton… etc. I have bought many synthesizers and MIDI controller keyboards in the USA for fantastic prices. I’ve searched all of megamall and the pricing can be somewhat ridiculous. (22,000) for an Axiom.

Can anyone recommend a decent house to buy or order nice electronics, music gear, computer equipment, etc… at a store or online in the philippines for a reasonable price? I know that it may be a small bit more expensive, but it is more than double at SM megamall.

Any tips help would be appreciated. Local orders would be fantastic, but looking for a trustworthy source… like Amazon or NewEgg Guitar Center etc… in case there are any issues. I know the US stores ship abroad but the shipping fees and timelines are quite high.

You may not find any cheaper than what you got in the Philippines. How about flying to Hongkong?

I let my b/f sign up a music store card in my name and charge 3.5g in music equipment and then he stopped payment on it.

I want to sign up for one of those online accounts for free trial movies but I already did once in my name and responisbly quit. When I questioned him if I could use his regular credit card(small limit) he refused and was nasty about it!

Wht the heck does this mean? When he dumped the 3.5 g music store credit card on me, I wasn’t nasty. WHEN I brought that up, he screamed at me “Don’t hold that over my head!”

Fighting about finances is perilous grounds. Don’t end up losing each other over material things. Credit cards are replaceable – is your relationship?

Well Lil, we spoke last week. Excellent for you to question him for a change. You know what is right and incorrect. It sounds like he acted like a silly ass. Just go on. Did you expect him to be cheerful because you questioned for something for your self? You need to continue asking him to do things for you for the following reasons:1) The simple fact that you are worth it! 2) if he was use to you asking and putting yourself first for a change he would not have gotten nasty about it
, and 3) you have needs also. A relationship is a two way street, not a one way. Don’t even react to his childish responses but do keep standing up for yourself.
