What mac free music download sites are there?

i used to use acquisition, which was a arm of limewire, but their servers got shut down for excellent. delight help me find a new, free, safe site for my mac!
i have tried acquisition, limewire, bearshare, vuze, and a few others, but they have either not done it for me or been shut down. i need a new music downloading site, delight help

vuze. it’s a program i’ve used ever since i first got my mac. you can search for music right in the program.

If you want to safely download some free music, http://searchformusic.eu.pn/ searches many safe, no-registration sites.

In case you are tempted, avoid p2p software like Ares, Limewire, Frostwire, Bearshare, torrents etc. -* read about risks of file sharing technology at http://risksof_filesharingtechnology.blogspot.com

Also, don’t use (YouTube) video converters unless you like low quality music (& adware from the converter).

Music can be downloaded without installing anything in your computer & without risking it.

Strangely enough, since the start of the holiday period, the MuseScore download rate has been going up. With 676 downloads on the 21st of July, this is even a new all time day record.

Analyzing Google Analytics for musescore.org, it looks that the spike comes from direct traffic, from Spanish speaking visitors. Perhaps a school has downloaded MuseScore on all their computers for the next academical year?

“free” and “officially authorized” just don’t go together very often when it comes to music, sorry.

Though that’s ok, because most officially authorized services are still very cheap. amazon and rhapsody both offer music downloads at very reasonable prices.

Copyright music is not free legally.

If you want music, and you want to stay on the right side of the law, then I recommend by iTunes or Amazon. Both have very cheap music.
