There’s a God whose all-powerful, and He will one day win the battle of excellent vs. evil. He is a god of like and He made the universe, and He likes you very much. He’s the living, powerful, all seeing God of the Bible- and He wants to know you.

Ares was responsible for all wars. He is more of a god form of brute strength and raw power. The horrors and terrors caused by war were not his domain. Specific powers depend on what tale you read of him in but generally he’s considered the greatest of warriors, a master diplomat, and that he lives for conquest in his name. He frequently tries to gain the favor of his father, Zues, over his sister Athena.

Ares has no unique attributes, but is described as strong, harnessed in bronze, and golden helmeted. He rides a war chariot. The serpent, owls, vultures, and woodpecker are sacred to him. Ares had unsavory companions like Phobos (“Dread”) and Deimos (“Terror”), Eris (“Strife”) and Enyo (“Horror”). Ares is a god of warfare and murder.
Strengths: Decisive, determined, fearless.
Weaknesses: Impulsive, bloodthirsty, raring for a fight regardless of the consequences.
Ares was god of slaughter, warfare, and warriors. Because Ares killed men, he was despised by the Greeks.
“She [Aphrodite having born a daughter to Adonis] turned her round eyes delighted in all directions; only the boars she would not watch in their pleasures, for life a prophet she knew, that in the shape of a wild boar, Ares with jagged tusk and spitting deadly poison was destined to weave fate for Adonis in jealous madness.” – Nonnus, Dionysiaca 42.1f
“Agraulos [daughter of Kekrops king of Athens] and Ares had a daughter Alkippe. As Halirrhothios, son of Poseidon and a nymphe named Eurtye, was trying to rape Alkippe, Ares caught him at it and slew him. Poseidon had Ares tried on the Areopagos with the twelve gods presiding. Ares was acquitted.” – Apollodorus, The Library 3.180
“While [Cadmus] was seeking water [when he first arrived in Boiotia] he came to the fountain of Castalia, which a Dracon, the offspring of Mars [Ares], was guarding. It killed the comrades of Cadmus, but was killed by Cadmus with a stone. Under Minerva's instructions he sowed the teeth and plowed them under. From them sprang [armed warriors called] the Sparti.” – Hyginus, Fabulae 178

The Greek god Ares, the god of war.
what was the greek view towards ares god of war..?
Answer by NewWorldViper
Well, that’s all an based on region, and not just “Greece” as we know it. Sparta revered him as a fantastic leader because of their war-like culture, but the Athenians were more in lines with Athena, his sister, and goddess of wisdom. They viewed him as more savage and barbaric, but would still reverence him as a god.
Answer by xrwmata
Ares was the god of war, was responsible for the violence and for the fighting and conflict between mortal public.
He had an explosive personality and when he was fighting he would cause terror and pain to the public.
That’s why he was never really worshiped or considered the protector of any city. He wasn’t very likable between the additional gods any.
Answer by Alice C
Well, i only know about how additional Greek Gods viewed him, hope this helps:
Aphrodite liked him, a lot. Additional Greek Gods thought he was a bit of a weep baby (so to speak) and he always went crying to his mother, Hera, after a battle in which he has been wounded.
Answer by eustacia
The same as anyone else’s.
If you come from a culture that reverences warfare then you would be indoctrinated into thinking that war and the god of, are a excellent thought. But most public just wanted to get on with a peaceful life and only called on Ares when they felt their city state was in distress.
He was not described as life one whom you would want to emulate life both too fiery and angrily aggressive and too apt to end up in a muddle in his like affairs. Most of the Greeks, life eminently sensible and pragmatic did noot want was in material form as a business to be much loved.
