What free music making programs are the best?

As the title shows, what are some best music making programs that are free as well as downloadable off the internet?

By music making programs, I mean point-and-click programs that involve making your own music with different instruments sounds and beats.

You can use Audacity. Even though it’s an audio control program, you can still make music with it. It is open-source and free.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GIODH02U. with that link you can get fl studio 9 for free. make sure to download and install winrar to your pc first. the using winrar extract the files anywhere. sadly i bought fl studio 9 before i found this, wasting 99.00$ .
