What kind of audio file does Rhapsody use?

What kind of audio file does Rhapsody download in? Im plotting on buying a third party mp3 player, and I want to make sure that it will be able to play all the music I download. Any answers would be fantastic.

The Rhapsody download store sells music in MP3 format. The Rhapsody subscription service uses a DRMed format, I judge a protected WMA format, which is compatible with many, but not all, mp3 players. On their website Rhapsody has a list of supported players that are guaranteed to work with their service.

Okay.
I have Itunes, but I chose to get Rhapsody because it was cheaper and stuff. I don’t know how to place the music from my new Rhapsody library to my ipod.

No, I don’t want Limewire.
And I already tried converting it.

Right now I reckon you are out of luck transferring MP3′s to your Ipod unless you buy them and then transfer them. If you were looking to transfer them to your IPOD via the membership you will have to buy an mp3 the is supported my rhapsody.
