Are my books eligable for Amazon's Textbook Buy Back if they have highlighting in them?

Are my books eligable for Amazon's Textbook Buy Back if they have highlighting in them?

Its the end of the semester, and I’m trying to get rid of some of my ancient text books. Amazon is offering me 50 bucks for a book I barely used – but there is some high lighting in it. Does it still qualify?

I sell me sons books on Amazon all the time but I would never go with the buyback….what a rip off. Just find your book your promotion and click the “sell your here” and fill in the drop down boxes. Your book sounds like it would be Used-Excellent. Give descriptions of what it looks like and your asking price. Don’t forget to deduct packaging and shipping cost.

I’ve heard you won’t get the best deal from Amazon. I found another page that lists a whole bunch of buy/sell used textbook websites. I would look there first.

Ahh, my books from amazon finally at home

do anyone know if the books you send to a inmate have to amazon books or can they be from another book company on amazon or do it even matter just as long as the book comes from amazon.com?
the detention center said it had to be from amazon.

You can send a book from anywhere, it doesn’t have to have anything to do with amazon. I reckon someone is scamming you if they are saying you must only use amazon. You can even send your own used books, or ancient library books

edit: okay, that’s just odd. I’d just question them, because that’s very unusual. It shouldn’t matter everywhere the book comes from, it would come in the mail just like personal letters. It doesn’t signal like your inmate would ever get the book. It goes from amazon to the detention facility, not from amazon to your inmate.

I know in the state of Louisiana the mail that comes in a Officer searches to make sure no drugs, weapons, or sexual pictures. I know they can get different books and magazines, but they are searched. You may want to question the inmate to make sure what they can and can not receive to make sure.
