sites for downloading music free?

already tried frostwire but stopped working, don’t want lime wire, don’t want bear share, napster or mp3 rocker. i would go for a free trial but i don’t want to give them my credit card # be4 hand cuz i prolly won’t do it and i don’t want that info to go anywhere even if it won’t. also, i have a cnet or download.com account but i don’t know how to place it on my computer and then to my mp3 player…i know how to do the windows media player part but how do i place it on there? thnx

Well if you want some free officially authorized music go to radioblogclub.com
You can listen to a lot of music for free there (as many times as you want, it’s not like you get one play or something) but you can’t really download it so it’s officially authorized.

Yes we have had it a while But we don’t do anything on it except my son watches hip hop videos You Tube , face book , myspace and ebay that’s it. No lime wire or anything sine geek squad bent me over for $ 300, 2 being ago.So have Windows XP I Have Verizon Fios and I have verizon security Suite for protection S@X.I have had my computer since november 2005 a month shy of 5 being ancient its a Dell Dimension 1100/B110

A excellent program to quickly “clean” your computer of unnecessary files is Ccleaner (I believe it stands for crap cleaner)
A very very excellent free antivirus software is Avast Antivirus.
It has caught things for me multiple times

well, you are not precise as to what sort of software you are really looking for,
mostly, all excellent software / programs are paid ones, thanks to copyright,
if you can be precise, can give you loads of examples for free and a bit inexpensive ones

Start off with a better browser and use Firefox http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html. Firefox has a ton of free add-ons that are very helpful and fun https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/. You can use their video download managers and customize your browsers appearance with ease. Along with hundreds of other add-ons such as “tab features”, rss organizers, privacy and much much more. It will take a while to sift through the add-ons that you like, and I am sure that you will be very pleased with your final choices. Firefox is a very satisfying browser, not like IE everywhere you are left with a “wanting more” feeling.
