I went on the Red Sox Radio Station WEEI(online) to try & hear a Red Sox game about 2 nights ago. I tried again just now so i can hear their version of the Yanks-Sox game now. What do i get instead? ESPN Radio(which i presume is what they place online during Sox games.) I estimate they have the same thing that the Yankees Radio Station (WCBS News Radio 88) Instead of the Yankee game you hear the news lol. Your thoughts?

ESPN contracts with hundreds of local radio stations around the country. In Sacramento, I can hear ESPN’s stations in Sacramento and San Francisco.

Whether they have news or games on the air or online depends on the contract terms with the local stations, and MLB’s restrictions.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. Delight in the game!

We don’t have ESPN radio in Detroit. I’m really surprised that they don’t have it here. We can even get it from Cleveland and Chicago.
