How do I obtain and burn bootleg movies onto a DVD?

How do bootleg movies work?

Everywhere do you download them?
How do you place them onto a DVD you can watch on your television.

I am always hearing about people who are able to watch “bootleg” movies of films still at the theater. As a divorced single mom who works full time and goes to school full time I don’t make it to the theater, well, ever. I want to be able to also watch these movies.

Detailed instructions for someone who is computer friendly but not a computer genius would be very appreciated! Thank you!

Real “bootleg” movies are usually made by some guy taking a camcorder into a theater, holding it in his shaking hand and taking a video of the screen….including the person that gets up and goes to the bathroom twelve times in front of the camera, and the person that won’t stop coughing behind the camera, and the person with the really annoying laugh next to the camera…
Some are digital prints stolen from the movie company, replicator or theater.
Downloading takes forever and you don’t know what you’re getting till it’s done downloading.
All are illegal.

For a few dollars a month you can have Netflix deliver movies to you home, keep them as long as you need to watch them. They have tens of thousands to choose, so there is plenty to watch during the three months it takes for a movie to go from the theater to DVD.

That is illegal. But more than that it is immoral. Beyond that it is just rude.

i take it that you delight in movies. You appreciate a well done film or you would not be trying to steal them. Well you are stealing from the very people that you appreciate. And you make it harder for them to continue to bring you entertainment.

Sure it looks like fun and it is but that does not mean it’s a leisure activity. We all have bills to pay same as you.

You can try use Limeware to search and download the movies, or you can try bittorrent to search and download the movies, search the torrent of the videos in the internet, and use bttorrent or utorrent to download the videos from torrent files.

If you want to burn the downloaded video files to DVD disc, then play it on any normal DVD player, you should burn a standard video DVD from your video files, there is the better choice, you can try RZ DVD Creator, It can burn multi videos to one disc, it can auto fit the size, it
can make standard video DVD from any videos, it can directly convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc.

Work well on my computer, simple to use, following is a step by step guide about DVD Creation:

Hope it can help you.

Due to apparently non-existent copyright laws over here, we generally get to see movies nearly as soon as we would back home.

… of course, sometimes with terrible signal, and on some of the worst copies, even shadows walking through the picture. :-)

I know someone with a large pool of bootleg movies, some of which are still out now in the movie theatre. Can he get in distress for just possessing them? It doesn’t seem right to me, is there a way to report this anonomously?

Answer by Ms1decatur
yes it is, people do it all the time. sure he can get in distress if he is guilty or if police or any people of authority founds out. Possibly you can get in contact with your local police dept. But i wouldn’t really stress it, because he isn’t the only one guilty of this,if this is the case their are others also out there. But I’m sure no one will tell, because its cheap and convenient.

Answer by Heather V
Technically it is not illegal to posses them, BUT it is illegal to buy or make them, so he would have a hard time explaining how he “found” all those movies. So yea he would get in distress
