Do you think that Google are creating a games console?

I just asked this about Apple. But wouldn’t it be cool if there was a google console. I mean, there is a google phone, soon to be a google computer, google mp4, all they really need now is a game console line, everyone knows they have the money, time and power to that. Do you also think Google is taking over the world in a good way?

Google claims their focus is on information. All the things you listed, in some way or another, relate to the spreading of information (at least more strongly than a game console).

I don’t think they’re doing it right now. But, you really can’t rule out with 100% certainty what may happen down the road.

They will. Wait and you’ll see. They have enough data to do anything.

No there will most likely not be a google console. There is no point in developing a google console, because an upstart would have no hope of competing with the other console manufacturers. (Chrome OS will fail too)
