how do i download music videos off of google and convert it to my video player?

how do i get it to work.avi files?but how to compress them?

The ony way I personally know how to do it is very time consuming.

First you use this http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php to get the video. Now you can covert it there or get a converter that will turn .FLV to .AVI I use Replay converter and that will convert it to a lot of different file formats. Once you figure out how to get it to avi by a converter the most simple way to make it really small is to use windows movie maker.
