How much does a large distributor (like target or best buy) pay for a music cd from a large record label?

Do large record marks give large distributors like Target and Best Buy music cd’s on consignment basis, or do they pay for each one on their shelf? How much do they pay for each?

I have tried the “Add Tracks To My Library” and that hasn’t worked and I reckon the fact that the files from iTunes are in an .m4p format and are protected. Is there any way to “unprotect” them or change them into mp3 format?

right click them and click save as and then change the format to mp3.. that should work =/ .. try it ? =)

It is hard to do so. Usually officially authorized conversion software can’t convert protected files.
