I'm looking for an online stringed instrument retailer based in Indiana?
A while ago I found an online music store that sold mostly violin / string and orchestra stuff. I can’t remember the name of the company but they were based out of Indiana. It might have been named string world or something like that. Anyone have any suggestions?
A website link would be most appreciated!

Khadidia is the title-holder of Cultural Acc’nts in Small Five Points. Her store has incredible African masks and statues and gorgeous jewelry. During the impromtu concert outside her shop, she pulled up a chair with one of the drums from her shop and played along. She was shy about having her picture taken, but once I showed it to her, she requested that I send her a copy and gave me permission to post it online.
If you’re ever in Small Five Points, be sure to stop in and see her store. You can also visit it online at www.culturalaccents.biz

Lets say I start up a website promotion music instrument supplies such as cables, strings, instrument polish kits, etc. I know that once i start it up I will have very small traffic. But should I expect even 1 sale? will people even know that my website exist?

If no-one visits your website then you will get no sales, it is as simple as that! You need traffic. But even when you get that traffic, you need to effectively sell your product – most people forget that bit. Why should someone buy from you and not another website – and it does not always come down to price. You need to have a website with excellent quality content that your customers want to buy from.
So there is no answer to your question because even if you have low traffic, your website will determine whether or not any sales will come from it.
I would suggest you plot your website first – plot for traffic building, plot for excellent content, plot for charitable customers what they are looking for – do all this before you sell anything. This is not a quick process but if you do it right you could start to get an income in a few months (depending on how much time you have to work on it). A excellent website which takes you through the stages is http://www.online-business-academy.com. They even have courses you can go on so you get a real, live tutor to help you.
Don’t be fooled by anyone on the internet who says you can get lots of sales quickly – it takes time and effort. But if you place the time and effort in the right house, it will work out for you in the longer term.

Along with retailing musical instruments, First Quality Music in Louisville also handcrafts banjos. A pickers delight because they specialize in by ancient-growth wood to capture that pre-war signal. Afterwards, scraps of the same wood are used to make notable turkey calls. Host Tim Farmer stops in to feast his ears on both.
