Divergent to the belief of other answerers, I have heard of The Pixies. In fact, I was raised listening to The Pixies. Being the youngest sister of three brothers, I was forced to listen to The Pixies. I can remember as young as 6 in 1988 listening to Nimrod’s Son. You know what they say about assuming things. You make an a** out of yourself, my friend.

Don’t listen to the first two. They doubtless never even heard the song and got a lot of the words incorrect. Here are the real lyrics.
