Q&A: Is getting "free" mp3s off google legal?

Q&A: Is getting "free" mp3s off google legal?

Well today I was watching youtube and they had a video that said you could go to google while using ie and type in intitle:index of (song/artist) mp3, right click and save target as to basically hack the parental directory of a website. My question is…is this legal?? Is songalicious legal? I like to use www.spiralfrog.com, which is legal, but has limited selection. any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Anything with “free” and “mp3″ is usually illegal. Unless a company is having a deal or something. But yes, it’s pretty much still illegal if you download it.

NO it is not legal…

it amazes me that you people still think that you can get something for free. If its free more then likely its stolen, cheap knock off, or its ILLEGAL!!!!!!

Think before you waste another 5 points noob

No, I know what video you’re talking about, but it’s not legal. D:

Most places that give out free downloads are not legal. If you want to download a song legally, buy it off iTunes, or buy the CD. There are also plenty other sites they let you download songs legally, but they aren’t free
