Can I transfer my free mp3 songs to my new iPod Nano?
I just ordered an iPod Nano and I was wondering if it’s possible to transfer my free mp3 songs to the ipod. Or do I HAVE to buy music from iTunes?
Answer by FireWings
Oh, on my iTunes, I do a small of both. Buy from the store, buy from Walmart, import CDs, and download for free online.
In order to place music onto an iPod, you MUST have iTunes on your computer (this is the program you will synchronize the iPod with). Though, you won’t need to buy from their store. All you have to do is import the MP3s you want from wherever they are on your computer into your iTunes library, and they can go onto your iPod like anything else.
Though, when you import MP3s into a library, iTunes DOES NOT copy them. So, I would place backups of all your music into a separate folder on your computer in case you run into any problems one day and lose the music from your iTunes (this happened to me when I got a virus into my computer).
I hope this makes sense. If not…I am so sorry. Hope I helped somewhat.

You can directly drag mp3 files into itunes and sync to your ipod, for ipod you should know the best song format for ipod is m4a(aac), not mp3, because m4a(aac) offer better quality than mp3. you can try RZ Audio Converter, it can convert any audio files between different formats, such as convert your mp3 files to m4a(aac), etc. you can yahoo or google search and download RZ Audio Converter, excellent quality, simple to use, hope it can help you.

Born Free
Kid Rock will release his 8th studio album, ‘Born Free,’ on November 16th via Atlantic Records. The record was produced by Rick Rubin and mixed by Greg Fidelman. The first single from the album will be, appropriately, ‘Born Free’ which hits radio September 14th. ‘Born Free’ is in many ways a transformational album for Kid Rock. While there is still the edge, wit, and swagger of previous albums, he doesn’t rap, there’s no metal – there isn’t even a parental warning sticker.
