that violates the copyright laws

A few nights before this we went and watched people do karaoke on the cruise ship and there was this SUPER cheesy video behind the music lyrics of this woman in a swimsuit holding a sheet of sheer fabric in her hands behind her, looking forwards wistfully while it blew in the wind. We just had to recreate it on the beach in Tortola.
I want to make youtube videos by my own cds and just making a simple power point with lyrics and the music playing in the background and i wanted to know if it was possible to do it that way.

youtube doesn’t accept powerpoint files… but windows movie maker can make slideshow/video that youtube accepts…
use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)… it can help you make gorgeous slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/lyrics/etc)…. then save it as video file such as wmv… finally upload.
or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/contest with pix/signal/etc by windows movie maker to make new masterpieces….
this will help you…. Use ‘zillatube’. This is the simplest (and also the fastest) way.
Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.
It is very simple to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker… save your file as wmv and then upload.
It works very well….just google search for “zillatube”, and select the first search result for download…
