good 80's radio stations in Bay Area?

Are there any excellent radio stations that play like New Wave 80′s music in the San Francisco area in California?? or stuff like Duran Duran or something…thank you!

Your best bet is to go to:

www.radio-locator.com

and look through the stations’ formats. There may be a non-commercial station that has an ’80s show. Otherwise you’re stuck with those stations that say “The Best of he ’80s, ’90s and Now!” These stations may be disappointing for you, but give it a shot.

Project Echo – Book and CD

To go along with the graduate's exhibition of Project Echo I wrote and made a book. It's 18,500 words long spread crosswise 120 pages. 15,000 words covers the entire transcript of the radio station, while the rest is contextual support material, a CD of all Project Echo audio is held in the back take in.

Each page has been manually aged to give the text an ancient textbook feeling. I based this aesthetic on the typewritten theses’ I occasionally find by students from the 70′s and 80′s in the university library.

Try B95 FM they play a lot of 80′s music.

101.5 FM The KGB plays a lot of classic rock so you will get a lot of cock rock from the 80s but as for synth type and Smiths stuff then not really.

Students in Audio Production (AUD 102) class had a choice on their final project to do an audio or video commercial. I choose the audio project. I used the Adobe Audition audio program as what the main program was used in the class. This project was done November into December 2007. The thought of the concept was from my own playlist of 80′s music on my MP3 player and since I have over 40 hours of 80′s music, it is if I have my own 80′s radio station.
