how do u place songs from limewire onto a ipod touch?
like can u give step by step directions on how to do it PLZ

have limewire and itunes both open… after you get a song from limewire, drag and drop the file into your itunes library.. then plug in your ipod and it should sync the song(s) to it.

open itunes
Click File…import file to library
Browse for the file everywhere you save your songs after u download them from limewire…and then click ok
Then on the bottom right click Sync or Apply

iTunes uses AAC format…

limewire will download MP3 but quit by this program…its not officially authorized

(sorry if it doesn’t quite make sense, this is a very common question and im just photocopying and pasteing)

cant answer that, but i want to reminded you that if caught with illegally downloaded songs from programs such as limewire or frostwire, its $ 750 minimum for each song before the company sues you(after its no less than double) and that is just for the songs my friend, just imagine all the other stuff that you may download illegally such as entire movies(now that’s what i call a pretty penny).if your not so sure about what im saying just look it up on cnn.com……i hear this one lady got charged 1.5million for each song.

if you find something on google video download it and change the last part of it from “.mp4″(movie) to “.m4a”(audio only) then by itunes and putting it in ACC format(cuts the size of the video to usualy a 1/3 or less than it originally was) i suppose that it’s officially authorized or at least your chances of getting caught are extremely low.
(note that you can’t download directly from youtube on google but you can download a program to do that for you….the only catch is that most only download in mp3 format…which then you have to get a mp3 to m4a converter which just makes things complicated so just stick to downloading from google.)

also its a lot less liable to be riddled with malware and spyware because it only goes through the 1 person who place on google.

You’re more liable then not by this software for illegal purposes.
You must stop. It’s against the law and the music industry will not hesitate to sue you, in any case of your age for thousands of dollars.
The only reason why you should be by these programs for music is if you’re sharing the music you made, or downloading music that is in the public domain or liscensed under the Creative Commons.

If you’re looking for affordably-priced music to use on any device, try the Amazon Music Store.
If you’re just going to use music on your iPod, the iTunes store will most liable give you the most seamless experience.

One of my friends got this music program called LimeWire that you can download for free off of the internet. LimeWire lets you download a ton of music for free. Is this program (LimeWire) illegal?????

The program itself is not illegal, but you are doing illegal activity by downloading copyrighted songs. I use it though. Limewire can be used for downloading all sorts of stuff other then songs, software, pornography, audio files, pictures, and so on
