Where can I watch / buy Japanese movies online for cheap? Is amazon.jp the best for Americans ?

I would like originial Japanese movies as well as American movies translated into Japanese by PROFESSIONALS.

Delight let me know, I am on a very tight budget.

ebay…i buy j-drama dvds and movies from there. just typpe the name of the show/movie in the search. it should come up.

For japanese period movies (ninja/samurai/ahead of schedule yakuza) try “Samurai movie store”, out of California.Very cheap and reliable, buy only.To watch -Avistaz is the go, Mysoju and movies4people and drama crazy are three others.Amazon.jp is not cheap you will pay japanese prices which can be up to 4 times dearer than amazon.com

I would suggest YesAsia.
That site is very reliable, I’ve been purchasing from there for about a year now.

If the Japanese movie was very standard in Asia they would have different versions (Korea version, Taiwan version…), these versions tend to be way cheaper than the Japanese one, plus some of these versions come with English subtitles.

The only house online you’ll find movies in theaters is torrent websites and those are all gambles. Netfilx offers some ‘in theater’ movies you can stream but i’m not sure they offer ALL movies in theaters.
