Are there any Hong Kong websites from which I can purchase and download e-books to Amazon Kindle?

I’m considering export an Amazon Kindle. Though, I have no thought (apart from Amazon.com) what websites offer e-books that I can download to the device, especially Hong Kong websites.

Officially, only the Amazon Kindle store will sell books for the Kindle device:

There are also some websites like this one, which offer over 20,000 free books readable on the Kindle device:

The Amazon Kindle can read PDF, MOBI files, etc. If you can find ebooks in those formats, then you can read them on the Kindle. And recently Amazon place a price drop on the Kindle 2, so it should be a excellent chance if you want to get it.

It depends on your library. If your library offers ebooks for Kindle, then, yes. My library does and I can use the Kindle app on my iPhone.

I’ve heard some libraries make some eBooks available in the Kindle format for borrowing. I haven’t really seen this. My library sure doesn’t.

It does all depend on your library. Many seats are now restricting the use of so-called “free” books (yet, aren’t they free if you borrowed them from the library)?
