Is there a Safe Free Music download Site?

I know nothing online is going to be absolutely 100% safe, but i dont wanna go find something thats going to download viruses with each song…any suggestions?
Ive tried finding free limewire downloads, but everytime i find a site with it, its like $ 35 for a yr? im poor i cant afford that lol

Try Mp3 Rocket If you get the PRO version it costs money but if you get the standard its free i like it! theres aot of feature to like Games, Chat, TV, and its all FREE!

On my desktop computer, I have Soulseek. When I first bought my laptop I tried it out on here, but it wasn’t able to contest up with hardly any other users. I can’t remember what the exact conundrum was. I reckon it was because I use wireless internet to connect to my desktop’s router and it wasn’t able to make access to hardly any servers. I’m sure there’s a way to fix the conundrum but I’m not exactly internet savvy. :

So my question is, what is the best safe but free music downloading client? My boyfriend uses Limewire which seems nice but I hear you can easily recieve viruses, and that there is some adware/spyware. I’ve also heard excellent reviews about Bearshare but I’ve heard just as many negative things about it. So delight give me in your input. Thanks!

The right answer is none. With each file share client you will always have someone who desires to house viruses out on the net. Some will tell you to use bit torrent and use a torrent site. Its a small harder to find your music, but most will list what it is your are downloading.
The major thing is be prepared for a virus. Just make sure your antivirus software is up to date.

I used Limewire and have been for about 3-4 being now. I have never gotten any virus/malware. If you look at the file sizes you can generally tell what is a real song and what is not.

Quite divergent to what you have heard, LimeWire is one of the few P2P file sharing programs that do not control adware/spyware in order to run, many others do (for example, kazaa and possibly bearshare, but I don’t know much about bearshare)

What you have heard about it being simple to download viruses off of LimeWire, that is 100% right, your largest conundrum is when downloading software though, and in some rare cases, you can get infections in images as well, the same thing can also happen on MP3 and other audio files, so it’s a excellent thought to do a virus scan to each file you have downloaded, the scariest thing about infected files found on P2P programs like LimeWire, is that it’s not only LimeWire that can get infected files, all P2P file sharing programs are victims of such an attack, but a excellent antivirus scanner will catch anything before it becomes perilous, and with resident shield protection, as soon as the download reaches 100%, and it’s infected, it will stop it immediately
