What is the name of a Greek/Roman myth that Ares (god of war) is involved in?

I’m doing a project about Ares. He is the Greek God of War. I need help finding out what realm or domain he is from. I also really need to know some myths that he is in. Delight help!

Read the lightning thieft series…it has a lot of info on greek gods i had 2 read that book 4 the reading bowl in the meantime just look him up on google type in “ares” then click on the wikipedia 1!

“Ares and Aphrodite were dallying together when their rest was brusquely interrupted. You see, the god of the Sun, Helios, from whom small, if anything, could be kept secret, spied the pair in enjoying each other one day. Helios promptly reported the incident to Hephaistos, who was understandably mad. Hephaistos contrived to catch the couple “in the act”, and so he fashioned a net to snare the illicit lovers. At the apt time, this net was sprung, and trapped Ares and Aphrodite locked in very confidential embrace. But Hephaistos was not yet satisfied with his revenge – he invited the Olympian gods and goddesses to view the unfortunate pair. For the sake of modesty, the goddesses demurred, but the male gods went and witnessed the sight. Some commented on the beauty of Aphrodite, others remarked that they would keenly trade seats with Ares, and they all laughed. Well, except for Ares, who was out of sorts, and Aphrodite, who, if goddesses can blush like maidens, surely did so.”

Just add a small more to what I’m finding.

Ares’s characteristics are that he is bloodthristy for war, reckless, and enthusiastic towards fighting. Even though he is the God of War, he is a lousy fighter, since he got beat by both Athena and Diomedes!
