is there and online music maker that will allow me to save the song as a file straight to my computer?

I want to make my own song. i wrote some lyrics and now i want to place some tunes behind it. is there a program that will allow me to make the background music, add the lyrics and then save it like i would any other song?

For the singing, you would need to record your voice somehow. Then place that as a file on your computer. If you have a Mac, Garage Band is a program that will import files and add music to it. I’ve not used it personally but JamStudio.com claims to have a free download for a music composer.
