When using yahoo search I redirected to another search engin how do I stop this?

I keep on getting additional search portals when clicking on the answer in yahoo search. I need to know how to stop this and get yahoo search engine my only search engine?

Your computer has been hijacked by malware. You need to scan the h*ll out of it and run CCleaner.
P.S. When it comes time to upgrade, please consider a Macintosh. You won’t have anyone else accessing your computer from the outside again.

I use safari on my mac, and my homepage is the yahoo website. We all know that the yahoo website has a search box on their website, but how do I get rid of my search history from that box? Oh, and deleting the history does not help.

Step 1
Click “History” on the toolbar.
Step 2
Scroll to the bottom of the list of history items, and select “Apparent History.”
Step 3
Select “Apparent” in the dialog box.
Firefox
Step 1
Click “Tools” on the menu bar, and select “Apparent Recent History.”
Step 2
Use the arrows to access the drop-down menu next to “Time range to apparent.” Choose “Everything” if you want to delete all of your history, or select a specific time frame to delete.
Step 3
Check the boxes next to the items that you want to delete. If you want to delete all of your browsing history, form and search history, cookies and additional information, check all of the boxes.
Step 4
Click “Apparent Now.”
