Where can I get Tegan and Sara piano sheet music?

Where can I get Tegan and Sara piano sheet music?

I’m looking for any of their piano sheet music, free or not.
I can’t even find any of their piano sheet music on amazon!
Help pleasee :)
It doesn’t have to be free!

Answer by byrde94
Free sheet music is illegal 99% of the time unless the artist allows it
that violates the copyright laws

so many people pirate music these days, they doubtless didn’t bother to transcribe it

The Blue Note Being: The Jazz Photography of Francis Wolff

Blue Note Records was formed in 1939 by two German immigrants to the USA, producer Alfred Lion and photographer Francis (Frank) Wolff.

Mosaic Records is the brainchild of Charlie Lourie and producer Michael Cuscuna. Ahead of schedule on they all ears on the music of Blue Note Records –Michael literally wrote the discography– though neither of them had ever met the legendary founder Alfred Lion.

A few being after they started the business Alfred, retired down South, started a phone relationship with Mosaic, charitable them tips and an rare session photo. When he died, his wife Ruth called Charlie and Michael and offered them custody of Francis Wolff’s personal Blue Note photo archive, which was stored in her bedroom in a trunk, having never been touched since Frank’s death in 1971.

Each Sunday for months, Michael, Charlie and yours truly would meticulously go through the negatives and contact sheets to archive the stuff. We launched Mosiac Editions to distribute the best work, and eventually Mosiac lublished the two books of Frank’s work referenced above.

I wanted to buy a book of sheet music from Amazon, but they only have it for piano. I play the violin, and I was wondering if I could play piano sheet music on the violin. I have a very limited knowledge of the piano. Is it in treble clef, like violin is? Would I still be able to read the notes correctly? Would the music signal like it’s supposed to signal? Sorry if this is a ridiculous question, but like I said, I know nearly nothing about the piano.

I don’t play the piano either (I tried to learn then stopped) but I have piano sheet music, and I play the violin as well. You CAN play what is on a piano’s sheet music because it is in treble clef BUT there will be a second line of notes that are in bass clef. Ignore those ones and stick only to the top notes.

Answer by Paul
No one hand plays in bass clef and one plays in treble clef it would be better to get piano sheet music.

Answer by livesoft
yes but you can’t play the bass.

Answer by Greg
You will be able to play the right-hand (treble clef) piano part, as long as it stays above a low G.

Yes, you can play the notes on the treble clef in your violin BUT it won’t signal complete. Piano music requires both hands and usually the left hand accompanies the notes that are played by the right hand but in some pieces, they really won’t signal complete if you only play the right hand. Take note: reading piano notes and violin notes have are followed by the same music theory only, the violin does not use a bass clef. If you’re a beginner, try to buy suzuki violin school vol. 1, 2, 3, etc. with cd :) excellent luck
