Is there a way to get free MP3 Downloads?

My husband just bought me an mp3 player as a birthday present. So I am wondering if there is any way I can download free mp3 songs to my computer?
I mean where I only have to download a song and legal?

Yeeeah dude there’s no legal way because persons laws are in place for the rich public to get richer, just like every additional law… your best bet is to get LimeWire and a VERY GOOD ANTIVIRUS or just search on YouTube the song name and “mediafire download link” after the song name. if it’s a well loved enough song someone has probably provided a download for you (: mediafire is the best because so far I have not experienced any viruses or malware plus it’s boundless downloads and only a couple annoying popups. But yeah, there’s really no way at all to get free MP3s thats legal. So al persons ads are incorrect, don’t judge em.

Dont use limewire, just saying

AND its not illegal to download music in Canada, to my understanding….
but abmp3.com is a excellent site
i mainly use it for listening to music though
