Did you stop shopping at Walmart after the movie came out?
I just watched the movie Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Prices, it made me pretty disgusted with Walmart. After watching the movie, did it exchange your shopping lifestyle at the retail store?
Answer by Pat
I’ve never shopped at walmart.
Every time you walk into a walmart, you are supporting slavery.

May not be relevant, but I hope it’s at least droll, particularly #7017.

Use some critical thinking. Who sponsored the film? Was it a union that hasn’t been able to establish a lock in the company? How impartial is the data? Is it the result of individual interviews with public who’ve been fired for theft? Is Walmart the only company that buys Chinese-made goods or do most additional companies do the same?
I don’t much care about Walmart any more than any additional company. But I know that the top restaurant administrator at Burger King only makes $ 30K a year, while assistant mgrs at Walmart start at $ 45K. And Kroger employees WITH a union start at $ 6 an hour while employees at Walmart start out at nearly $ 9 an hour.
Keep in mind, too, that a lot of the lawsuits against Walmart were for violations by employees against company policy, but the company still takes the hit for it.
While public complain that company advertising causes public to make poor decisions, persons kinds of movies are nothing more than reverse advertising and apparently are working well.
