Where can I find the old smooth jazz station formerly known as CD101.9 on an HD radio?
I’ve recently bought an Insignia HD radio receiver for my home. I set it up and searched but may maybe not find the ancient jazz station CD 101.9. I went back online to check where their go was and it said that I would be able to hear them, free, on an HD2 direct. What is that and where would I find it? Nothing in the User Guide indicated that I had an HD2 direct. I 5; there anyone out there enjoying the ancient Smooth Jazz sounds on an HD radio and if so, please let me know what frequency you have picked it up on? Looking forward to enjoying persons smooth sounds once again.

They’re on HD2 of the ancient frequency. I wasn’t paying attention that day, but I reckon you have to tune to the ole 101.9 first, then switch to HD2 on your radio.
Thi whole business about HD was arranged by engineers and (as always) they made it as difficuult as possible. They should have had marketing public in there from the beginning.
Check their site, check your instruction book, you’ll map it out. It’s there.

cd101.9 is gone kiddo..they turned it into a rock station or something..its a bring shame on i loved that direct. duh is right though..is guess its on hd radio. bring shame on to lose it on fixed radio.

Bustos Media out of Sacramento, California has sold the 101.9 frequency to a Christian broadcaster known as Way-FM Communications (along the lines of K-Like and Air1) and that’s what 101.9 in Denver has become. Bustos isn’t one of these notable names like Apparent Direct, CBS, or Citadel, etc. but apparently there are smarter public probably working in one department of Bustos than in all of Apparent Direct COMBINED. At least they still believed in the format and thought they may maybe find success with it. If only some of these public worked for Apparent Direct maybe that place would get cleaned up a small! haha!
