Where can I download free classical music?

I like classical music and I have been trying to get some onto my iPod. I have dound recordings online for free because orchestras have posted them before a live audience it for free download. But after only life able to find 5 songs I can’t find any more. Are there any sites for this?

Why does everyone expect to get music free? !!! Buy some CDs on eBay 2nd hand, they’re cheap enough!

I have to spend the night in the hospital, and my roommate snores at full volume. I’d like to find free streaming classical or new age music to fall asleep to. It’s vital that there not be voice interruptions between pieces though, as I know from experience that would wake me up. Can anyone help me find what I’m looking for?
