Q&A: What are the alternatives to selling books through Amazon for law reference books?
I have a bunch of ancient(1-2 year ancient volumes) that are worth about 30 dollars a piece used. While these are excellent as new, they have been on the on my firms shelf for about a year. Are there places or websites that take these types of books for compensation? I have had them listed on Amazon for awhile now and no success.
Note: These type of books are also for decoration appeal and may maybe be considered decorative. On eBay they aren’t selling because they are expensive and aren’t in demand…generally.
Thanks!

Just arrived books from Amazon. Python, Django and scalability titles.
I want to buy some books from Amazon and some of the marketplace seller’s books are much cheaper than Amazon’s prices, but I can’t seem to map out how the shipping works. On their website it says domestic shipping is $ 7, but is that per one book, or is that per shipment of books? So if I buy 3 books would the shipping be $ 7 or $ 21? By the way, I am in Canada…

You’re best off contacting the vendor. They’re supposed to give volume rebates, but they don’t all do. The Marketplace would charge you $ 21 at first automatically, and if you haven’t clarified shipping beforehand, you’ll be at the vendor’s mercy.

I sell on Amazon, and they only pay the vendor just enough to ship via Media Mail, which can take up to 3 buisness weeks for delivery. And if you buy 3 books, Amazon does not bunch the shipping costs, every item is considered seperate.
