What is a good free download video editing software like Windows Movie Makers?

What is a excellent free download record control software like Windows Movie Makers? I want to be able to make a record like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QRKht_LuzU&feature=player_profilepage
I just need free software, that’s safe. Any thoughts?

Check out trakAxPC Pro. It’s a new control suite that allows you to edit and mix any combination of audio, record and photos. You can cut and edit, add effects, text, tear screen, reverse, slow-motion etc, plus upload your record directly to YouTube through the application.

You may try this Record Editor, it’s a nice record control software that can help you edit, join, tear, trim, crop, convert and cut record, my friends recommend it to me, it’s simple to use and works pretty well for me, it embeds many speciRwonal effects. I had made a record with it and the record got award, that’s pretty cool. Here is the free download link.

It all started when I chose to hold Mass Effect for the PC, instead of the XBOX version.

All pleased and smug, I got home, fired up VMware and installed it on my XP virtual machine. Small I knew about the SecuROM software used by Bioware. It installed fine, I clicked "play" and…"failed to load security module (6000)". Googled it, and found out that many, many public had this error for all different reasons. All it takes it’s SecuROM not liking something on your system. For example, it doesn’t like disk emulators.

Tried all suggested measures on the forums, to no avail. Finally, I bucked in, and downloaded a crack.

Ta-da! Got rid of the error and…"Failed to compile global shader". Another half hour of Google invstigation, and I realized that VMware doesn’t use the actual NVIDIA driver, but a generic one.

"Oooook, I guess I’ll have to re-install windows via Bootcamp, then!" – I thought. Started Bootcamp, selected a 32 GB partition (had 60GB free on my disk) and…"Bootcamp can’t partition your drive…please backup all your data and reformat your drive. WTF? Back to Google, and after another hour of digging, found out that Bootcamp has problems moving large files. Off I go to go all my movies, etc. to an external hard drive. Tried to partition again, no go. Tried a smaller partition, 25GB…seemed to be a go, but I was tired and went to bed. Woke up and Bootcamp was frozen at the same place, about 99% to end the partition. Force quit, reopen, remove botched partition, partition again…done! Yay!

Grab my windows CD pop it in, setup starts, copies files, reboots and…"disk error", please press any key to reboot (but it wouldn’t acknowledge any key press). Reboot again, same shit. Ok, let’s boot into MacOS X. But…I forgot how to bring up the volume choice screen. It’s already 9am by then, so I choose to go to university, and then keep working on it in my office. Packed computer into backpack, and left.

I get to the bus stop. I prop my backpack on a window ledge to grab my iPod. Backpack slips and falls headfirst. I hear the "thunk" and say "f@*K!", but give it no additional thought. Then I get to my office, unzip my pack and "HOLY $ #IT MU$ #@F@#ING SON OF A B#$ CH!", I see what happened to my baby. Shaking, I press the power button…heart stomping…it turns on fine, and the screen seems to by fine. Whew…may maybe have been worse, but still DAMN, my macbook pro is wrecked!

And I’m still stuck at the disk error screen. More googling, and I realize I should have questioned windows installer to reformat the partition. Do it, and finally get the setup to work and windows back on the machine.

Right now, I’m reinstalling Mass Effect, and hoping for the best.

EDIT: Installed Mass Effect fine, didn’t even need the crack on bootcamp. Just two minor problems – can’t get my bluetooth mighty mouse to work on windows, and the game quitted twice on me because of some graphic rendering bug. But it is a fantastic game, ideed, I’m reasonably impressed. Feels like I’m before a live audience a movie.

Windows movie maker does not have a lot in it so can i download something for FREE that is like imovie on mac or wateva its called?
