Whats better for a 12 pound baby a moby wrap or a baby sling?
I want to feel quicker and connected to my baby. I want to know if a moby wrap or a baby sling is better? I really want to make whatever one is better for my 12 pound baby.

Moby wrap. I wish I had gotten one. I have a sling for my son who is now nearly 15 lbs and it kills my back when I place him in it.

Moby wrap. I despised our sling. It would hurt my back and never seemed to be positioned right. When I got the moby wrap, my daughter loved how much more she may maybe see, and also worked better for when she got older. They also have some really cute designs. I got mine off of ebay.

Moby wrap. You can make your own and get two out of it. Just google “how to make a no sew moby wrap”. Its literally as simple as buying the right type of fabric and cutting it down the middle. Works just as excellent as the ones you buy for $ 36 and you get two!

There are lots of different styles of slings, so I’m not sure which stylishness you’re referring to. I’ve never used a moby wrap, but I have used a Snugli, Maya Wrap ring sling, Mama Kangaroo mesh pouch sling, and homemade Mei Tai carrier.
The Snugli was awkward, uncomfortable, and hard on my back. Once I realized there were additional options, I went on.
The ring sling and pouch sling were both fantastic for easily carrying a baby or toddler reclined or on my hip and life able to pop them in and out quickly as needed. The nice business about the ring sling was that it was adjustable, but I did find that my rings would slip as I went, so I was adjusting them a lot. The pouch sling fit me well, so it worked fantastic. I carried my middle child in it for at least part of every day from the time she was about 6 months ancient (when I first bought it) until she was close to a year. If I’d bought it quicker, I may maybe have gotten more use out of it.
The Mei Tai was my absolute favorite sling, and I used it some with my older two children and nearly exclusively with my third baby. I carried my son in it against my chest when he was a newborn and then started carrying him on my back when he was about 6-8 months ancient. (I can’t really remember when I made the transition.) I even carried my oldest on my back from time to time when she was 3-4 years ancient. It was no heavier than charitable her a piggyback ride, and it was really simpler because my arms were free to do additional things. I honestly can’t say enough excellent things about my Mei Tai. Mine was homemade, but there are plenty for sale online, so you may maybe beyond doubt find one if you wanted one (or just make it yourself if you can sew).
Excellent luck figuring out what works for you!

I would say the moby wrap. My son loved it and I carried him around in it from birth at 8 lbs until he was 10 months ancient and 19 lbs (I would have kept using it but I got prego again) Now I use it with my new small girl and she was 6lbs 8oz and will keep going so I have hands free to keep up with our older two boys… I like the moby so much more than I did any of my additional carriers because there are so many different ways to hold my babies… Like my son loved to be in the cradle hold like in a sling but my daughter seems to like to face out more but I can switch her way of facing and laying really easily.. I can even nurse with her in it!

Moby — Ruined
Moby’s Ruined is populated by desolate and dour soundscapes. It eerily captures the essence of blankness. The man born Richard Melville Hall’s 10th LP basks in haunting structural tones and textures, and obsessively and fantastically explores sleep deprivation.
