where can i find FREE music downloads that are legal and safe for my ipod touch?

i have an ipod touch 8gb 2nd gen. and i don’t want to use lime-wire anymore and i want a website that has music/Video and movies that are easy and fast to transfer the music to the ipod touch. please help i just got it and i love it..thank you.. bye

from what i hear, as long as you don’t upload or share music it inst illegal.

you can try beemp3.com. it doesn’t have every single song out there, but it has quite a few and you don’t have to install any type of software like limewire.

I just got my new ipod touch( i am so happy)!! I was wondering where i could download free music (that is legal) to my ipod. I want to spend all my itunes gift cards on apps and stuff and the music i want on itunes is expensive. Oh yeah i also want it where it will show the real information of the song and album that is it off of instead of track1 and album 1 and so on.

download lime wire or mp3 rocket. you can get heaps of music from those programs. The information of the song isn’t always there but you can download almost anything you want.

I cant think of any… only iTunes and spotify and stuff, but they cost money. I think theres one called something like freeMP3exchange or something. Its all over youtube so look it up. But if you do music for free, it would have to be illegal downloads, but they’ll just get you into a fair bit of trouble.
Having an iPod touch myself, i’d suggest spend it on the music. The apps aren’t that great, and they are not worth the money you pay for them. Most of the apps i’ve got are free, and they are the best ones…
