My friend made me a CD-R record, and I’d like to get it up on youtube, but I’m not sure how.

copy the record from CD-R to computer then convert the record in to a AVI file and place it on you tube.

You don’t need to do any conversion after copying. If the CD is a record CD, you can copy the DAT files (record files in mpegav directory) directly to your computer.

When you upload it You-tube will automatically do the conversion. Most of the formats are automatically converted to you-tube format easily. It takes a few minutes for the conversion process

you need a cd/dvd extractor… that will help you extract the movies into clip from your cd/dvd with… http://www.magicdvdripper.com/ – make sure the file format is assess such as wmv, mpg, or avi (else youtube will not accept them).

Then import into moviemaker for control.

—for best control..
use windows movie maker (built-in in your windows machine)… it can help you make gorgeous slideshow or record clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/record/lyrics/etc)…. then save it as record file such as wmv… finally upload.

or .. Just get persons clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to make new masterpieces….

this will help you…. Use ‘zillatube’. This is the simplest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very simple to download and convert videos. Then edit persons converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker… save your file as wmv and then upload.

It works very well….just google search for “zillatube”
