Rhapsody/Napster/Yahoo Question!?

Rhapsody/Napster/Yahoo Question!?

alright I’m thinking o getting rhapsody to go and it says that if you stop paying your subscription then your MP3s won’t play. How is this possible if your song is on your MP3!?!?!? Does rhapsody control your MP3 player!?

any reviews of Rhapsody to go or opinions about it are welcome!

I don’t want iTunes because I’m NOT paying 1 dollar per song.

Limewire/anything illegal is out of the question.

Rhapsody/Napster, etc.

You are RENTING the songs, not BUYING THEM. So you have to plug the player in to Rhapsody/Napster wahtever the heck at least once a month to keep RENTING the music.

They put a code or something in the music. If you want to OWN the music you’re gonna have to PAY for it.

BTW – with Rhapsody/Napster? You can’t burn the music to a CD either without buying the songs outright.

Remember – that 14.95 a month is for RENTING ALL the music in their stores. You wanna OWN it, you gotta pay the dollar.

The music expires on your player.. They don’t control your player, but, the songs do expire if you don’t plug it into your computer and sign in..
I have Rhapsody and really like it.. Just about every other day I download another album from a group I’ve never heard of.. I’ve found all kinds of music I never would have even heard of without Rhapsody. I’ve easily gone through over a thousands songs on my MP3 player in the few weeks I’ve had it.. I shutter to think how much that would’ve cost me if I had an ipod.. lol

So all I want to do is download 1 freaking song that I want.
I try yahoo music, rhapsody, and napster with no success.
I looked on reviews for music download sites and it says that you can either: 1)pay a monthly fee, download their software and listen away OR 2)you can just buy the song outright for 99 cents.
But I cannot find any link on any of these sites that lets you just buy the song and leave. They all want you to download their software and use their “free trials” Help!
I dont’ want their software (i only want to use windows media player) and I don’t want to use a monthy service.
All I want is to just give them my money and they give me my download! No extra crap. hehehe
Sorry, I am just frustrated.
Thanks!
P.S.
I don’t want to use P2P services. For my own reasons I want to buy the download (mp3 or wma) free and clear.
Any more votes for walmart.com?

You could try a P2P program. Zultrax P2P works pretty good.

Walmart has .88 cent songs. You download it to Windows Media Player. Go to their website and look for Music.

They are getting more and more MP3 too. They usually are WMA.
