Where do I safely download songs for free?

I want to SAFELY download songs and whole cds. I used to go to google and add . torrent to anything I wanted to download, but that completely ruined my hard drive. Oh, yea and it has to be simple, too. Because I really won’t know what I’m doing! Thanks!

Well, for legal songs, you can do I-tunes. Walmart’s website sells digital music as well. If you are looking for “Free” music there aren’t many ways to download commercial artists for free. If you are looking for simply safe, both I tunes and walmart music should be fine. Even rhapsody should be “safe” if that’s what you want to use.

There are some sites that have alot of indie artist songs and albums available for download, and it’s free and legal. The site I use often is:

http://www.jamendo.com/ . There are a couple others, but I can’t reckon of them off the top of my head.

Free music is illegal 99.9% of the time, unless the artist allows it

Download LimeWire then, Download ALL of his songs then, make a folder in your desktop then after downloading it, Transfer it to the Folder.

OR

Download iTunes and LimeWire. Download the songs in the Limewire. After downloading, Transfer or Add persons songs to iTunes.
