Do they look like they would be related?

I was surfing the internet for people I think would look like my characters. These are the images I choose for the Ludwig children.
Alexander James Ludwig
He actually has crimson eyes, but hum ans don`t have those.

Xavier Benjamin Ludwig http://coolmenshairstyles.com/images/2009/09/emo-boys-haircuts.jpg ( he reminds me of my friend Ryan ). Xavier is Marcus`s twin, but they aren`t identical.

They don’t really look related, but I wouldn’t let this worry you. My sister and I look practically opposite, and we’re definitely related.

The first and second look related, but not so much the third. How about in the story you mention something about how the boys got the father’s looks and the girl got the mom’s looks, or something like that. It’s just a suggestion though!
