Help! How can I find books to read online by my age or grade?

Hi everybody.
I was wondering if there is a way to go on a website like amazon or something and find books for my age, 14 or my grade ninth.

no, I reckon that you would receive better results in going to a library and asking them what type of books that they recommend for kids your age because they are an expert on this material..

Amazon has a system like that, but it only goes up to 8th grade…

Barnes&Noble has a Teens section, though.

I’ve seen sites like amazon and barnes n noble.com but they only have excerpts. I know this is possible. I’ve heard about it. I tried google to search for the site, but didnt find what i was looking for. Can anyone help me find it?

google books (I don’t mean “google” as in the verb, I mean that there is something on google, called googlebooks)

You can download the same way you download movies and music. Even if not every book is on the internet since public have to scan them and then upload.

Try sites like btjunkie, mininova, or demonoid. Persons are torrent sites btw.

Also try sites like scribed where public upload books to a simple pdf reader.

Current novels are protected by copyright, so they’re not legally available for free anywhere online. Any free downloads you find are in violation of copyright law.

But, you can read novels that are out of copyright, including nearly all the classics, at online libraries like Project Gutenberg and a few others.

There are also gathering places where public self-publish their tales and place them out for free public consumption. They won’t be authors you’ve ever heard of and the quality will be spotty, but you never know what you’ll find.

You can also check your favorite authors websites to see if any of them have posted free reads or small tales that were once published but the rights have reverted to the author.

I forgot to add — your library may have e-book checkout capabilities. Check their website for more information. You’d be able to read current novels online through their service.

Reading full books online for free is mostly illegal because of copyright. I recommend going to your community library. They have many more books than are available online, including a whole lot of new material, that you can legally use for free.
