The Blogosphere refers to the community of bloggers who write their opinions via articles posted on the internet.

So, does Yahoo Answers qualify as life part of the Blogosphere? I mean, it’s not public writing articles in a concise and edited format. But, it’s similar in that public are posting questions about relevant issues, and the innumerable answers are like different opinions/perspectives.

So, what do you reckon?

Answer by stephen k
Not, for it still bills itself as a Q&A site, regardless of evidence to the contrary

Too often public cheat. I have seen it over and over again. To gain massive points and feel proud, there are persons who abuse Yahoo Answers by putting a word for a large question or even frivolous answers to gain large points and to be on top.

What can Yahoo do now, to place a stable stop on the abusers of Yahoo Answers. It is too much. I am honest along with others, but there are hoodlums who score dishonestly. What do you ‘honest’ public reckon?

it not right personally

i don’t know what Yahoo does.i have seen where points have been deducted on some of the public.also Yahoo will ban someone from using this site if they are abusive.they try their best to Monitor things on here.also if you see someone life abusive you can report it to Yahoo.they will look in to it and make a choice on that abusive person.

If you are this uncomfortable then any ignore the question or go on. Its a public forum public should feel free to answer what ever they want regardless what it is or how small. Its only points so who really cares? Seriously

Answer by ladykenmax
report them as non answer – no answer posted. Most of the time, YA will delete the answer and deduct points from their account. If they place in one word to a question, that may be a violation. Report them also.

Frivolous answers aren’t cheating… they’re just terrible answers. And if not an answer to the question… a violation.

If it’s a one word answer, or “idk” or “I don’t know”, it’s not only not an answer to the question, it’s a point-gaming violation, which is considered a form of cheating… answering just for the 2 points.

Persons answers have nothing to do with honesty or dishonesty, and public like that don’t do it to gain “massive points”, because public who answer like that get a lot of violations… so they’re not gaining a lot of points. They do it because the get their kicks by annoying public, charitable wise a s s answers, or reckon it’s pun or clever. Persons aren’t the public doing it for “massive points”.
