What do you think of my "Mystery Story?"?

I just thought of it real quick when i was bored on the bus home, so…
WARNING WARNING REALLY STUPID (maybe, depends how you reckon)
I like Desperate Housewives, so it’s sort of inspired by persons type of mysteries. I got really excited about it and even thought about writing a script lol. please don’t make TOO much fun of it, I know it might be dumb.

An ordinary, ultra-religious family, reside in Mysteria Lane (lol, j/k). The family consists of a mother, a father, and a teenage son. The son is very introverted, and rarely communicates with his parents, and barely talks with anyone at school. He’s the target of all the ridicule and bullying and is considered the “freak of the school”, so he’s pretty depressed too. His parents are very worried about him because of how he is, and constantly try to converse with him, but all he says is “Yeah”, “Ok”, “No”, etc. and they barely talk. They try taking him to counseling and have him talk to the therapist–but because what he says is confidential from the parents, the reader/audience doesn’t know what they talk about until later. One day, as the son is walking home from school, bullies deal with him and beat him up. Of course, his parents are super concerned and have the bully suspended and small jail time. A time jump here, i don’t know how much lol, but how many days later, the mother calls 911.
“911, what is your emergency?”
“Yes, m-my son–he’s missing. He’s been missing for about two days now, and we don’t know where he is…” she answers sobbing. Once they hang up, she puts down the phone, looked up at her husband and they look mysteriously………..
A couple days later, the police have found a body in the woods not far from their house, and they identify him as their son. His parents are very sad and upset–or so they act like they do. His body has a bullet hole right in the middle of the chest. They investigate……..they search for fingerprints–there are fingerprints of the bully who beat the boy up before all over his body, trees, clothes, etc. So they suspect him immediately. He is arrested and interrogated. It turns out the day that the boy went missing, he was drunk and didn’t know anything that happened that day. The police arrest him anyway because they reckon his condition at the time may maybe have led to homicidal activity. Even if the bully denies murdering him, all evidence points towards him and they have no additional suspects. The investigators question the therapist that they go to, and he really has a tape recording of their session, so she lets them listen to it. On the tape, the boy reveals that he is stressed out and is frightened because everyone despises and mistreats him at school, and especially when he got beat up, and he reveals that he’s “frightened that he might kill him one day.” This seems to give enough confidence in the police that they have arrested the assess guy. Investigation continues. The coronor examines the body and discovers shocking evidence. There are faint inscription and bruises around the murdered boy’s neck, showing that he was also strangled in some manner. The canvasser questions to himself mysteriously “Why would someone shoot him in the chest, and THEN strangle him?”………
Investigation continues to occur, and they get permission to perform autopsy on him. Once autopsy has been performed, they find more shocking things. They somehow map out that the gunshot was NOT the cause of the boy’s death–rather he died from lack of oxygen in his lungs and blood. This changes the investigators thinking to “Why would someone strangle him to death, THEN shoot him?……
Additional mysterious things occur, but i don’t know yet b/c I didn’t reckon about it much. As they search thru the boy’s belongings and clothes, and the crime scene, they find a strand of hair on his shirt. The police call the boy’s parents and inform them that they have found hair and will go process it in the lab for DNA tests. The mother hangs up the phone, with her hand on her mouth, shocked. The husband: “What’s incorrect?” The wife: (sobbing/shocked) “They found hair!” At first it seems as though they are pleased b/c the person will finally be caught…until she says “What do we do?” (dun dun dun) At this point, the audience should suspect that the parents killed their own son. While they are processing the hair in the lab, a fire unexpectedly starts and burns down the lab, destroying everything, including the hair. As it zooms out, we see a man, face concealed, with a distinct coat walking around the corner from the fire.
Later, an canvasser goes to the parents house to tell them what happened. The parents act shocked and upset. As the canvasser leaves, he says “I like your coat” and points to a coat on the coathanger–the same coat we saw on the man who mysteriously walked away from the fire. As they investigate the fire, they find some sort of evidence (i dunno what yet) that the father had set the fire deliberately, and they are immediately arres
arrested. The interrogaters question them why they would set a fire destroying evidence of the murderer of their son. He then goes on to question them “You killed your son didn’t you?” The parents act very indignant and snap back harshly. “NO! We didn’t!” they say. Seeing as they have no additional way out, they finally reveal the mystery and what happened:

SPOILER ALERT: (lol, justkidding, not that exciting)
Two days before the mother made the 911 call, she walked into his bedroom to check on him and found that he committed suicide by hanging himself (where neck bruises and lack of oxygen came from). She was horrified. But, instead of mourning, she was mad. Remember, they are ultra-religious (which may maybe be illustrated before by them going to church and praying all the time) and strongly judge that suicide is a sin and a disgrace to the family. They couldn’t let this go public because it would bring bring shame on and humiliation to their family (They don’t like him anymore b/c of this btw) They
They talk about how to hide the suicide from public, then they come up with an thought–to stage a murder, and make it look as if he were murdered, and the best person to be the fill in suspect would be the guy that really assaulted him and beat him up. So the mother/father followed the bully to a bar, and he gets really drunk (Why he can’t remember what happened). When he gets up, the mother secretly takes his beer can. With that, they use the National Treasure method to replicate the fingerprint on the beer can, and they place these fingerprints all over his body and the “crime scene”. Then the father, carrying the boy’s body over his shoulder, takes him into the woods and pulls him off his shoulder (pulling a strand of hair with him), throws him under a tree, raises a gun… and shoots him in the chest to make it look like he was murdered. Their plot was nearly flawless (lol idk about that), but they didn’t reckon about bruises on skin/autopsy stuff–so they were caught. They get arrested

I reckon its pretty excellent. i would watch a movie or tv show about that. It is unclear what the ‘national treasure method’ of fingerprint replication is, and that might be a small confusing in the screenplay.
also, i dont know why the parents would get in distress with the cops if they didn’t really murder him. since it’s their son, they can do whatever they want with his dead body, right?

i like some of them: 3 doors down, lifehouse, three days grace, foo fighters, daughtry, ROB THOMAS (i like him!!) david cook, (and idk whether or not to be embarrassed..but i like nickelback) queen, beatles, simple plot, linkin park…

the others are any OK (like carrie underwood, maroon 5)
and most of them…i’ve only heard 1 song from them, so i can’t judge. like switchfoot, weezer, jeremy camp (like his voice, though) , skillet etc.
