How do you get Ares to start working after it just stops letting you download music?

I used to use Ares and it just suddenly stopped working for me. I’m not sure why, but it says it has something to do with my Norton security systems. Is there any additional program I can use to download music from? This is for an mp3 player.
Thanks for your help!

You can try Lime wire or Bear Share which are both free music-sharing programs. (among additional sites)

But, if you want Ares to start working again, you may have to re download and re accept it to Norton as it is probably shutting it out because Ares is an unidentified program to it/ or appears to be unsafe.

Also, I’ve found that ares sometimes downloads slowly, doesn’t have as many music options etc. so it may just be time to get a better program such as Lime Wire – just based on previous Ares experience.
All the best luck! ^^~
